Hart Middle School

On Monday, November 3rd, the middle school bands played at the annual Halloween concert in the middle school auditorium. The night was full of many beautiful songs, such as Daydream,s written by Rob Romeyn, played by the seventh-grade band, as well as Gentle River, written by Rob Grice, played by the eighth-grade band. Students also showed a great deal of Halloween spirit with their fun costumes. 

This concert also marked the debut of Hart Public School’s new band director, Reece Zeller. Mr. Zeller expresses his journey with the bands by saying, “8th grade has been working on making the little details sound even better … I believe they have improved on that aspect during this time.” He also adds, “7th grade has gotten better with balancing between instruments and starting to identify their role in the band as a whole. They come in excited every day, and seeing them grow and play has me excited for the rest of the year.” Overall, this concert showcased the fantastic musical abilities the students have and how much passion they have for something everyone can enjoy!
