The summer is coming to a close and we are gearing up for another exciting year at HHS. Fall sports will be kicking off soon and registration is right around the corner.
Please take a look at the graphic included with this post. It refers to some changes for the upcoming school year. Specifically regarding Electronic Communication Devices. We will have some new expectations. These have been developed in response to new legislation recently passed.
There will be more posts coming regarding this, but I wanted to get this out so you could start discussing and digesting these expectations.
Our office opened on Monday, and I will be around school if there are any questions. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Another busy week in the books! Diman-Wolf ECC is getting interior upgrades and carpets, Hart Middle School is upgrading equipment in the boiler room, and Hart High School is getting new HVAC units on the roof and stump cleanup around the field.

More construction work at Hart High School to finish up the week! We are replacing HVAC units, patching roof spots, and cleaning up trees.
Location change for the upcoming July Board of Education Meeting! The new meeting location will be the High School Auxiliary Gym due to construction.
Any students interested in playing volleyball at Hart High School or Hart Middle School this year are invited to join in on summer workouts in July and August.
UPDATE** The week of 7/15/26- Due to temperatures MS open gym will be at the same time as HS open gym from 9-11

Going... going... GONE! Hart High School is removing trees this week to prepare for bond renovations to the athletic complex, which will break ground after this football season. Don't worry, new trees will be replanted!
Ahoy, Hart Community! A New Crew Member Joins the Ship!
Hart Public Schools proudly hoists the sails to announce that on Monday, June 15th, the Hart Board of Education selected fellow Hart resident, Jordon Walsworth, to fill a vacant seat on our board.
After a voyage through a sea of strong applicants, five exceptionally qualified candidates stepped forward, each bringing their own treasure chest of ideas, experience, and a steadfast commitment to our school community. The Board carefully charted its course through these impressive contenders before making its final selection.
Hart Public Schools extends heartfelt thanks to all who threw their hats in the ring and answered the call to serve. Your willingness to support our district shows the true spirit of our community: strong, united, and ready to navigate any waters ahead.

Summer EBT benefits are loaded onto your existing Bridge card or mailed to your address. If you haven’t received Summer EBT automatically, you can still apply. Find out if your child is eligible and if you need to apply at summerebt.org/states/michigan
You will notice that Hart Public School’s campus will be a flurry of activity this summer while we implement phase one of our bond construction. Hart Public School’s bond, approved by the community, generated roughly $14 million to improve every single building. Phase one consists of building work on Diman-Wolf Early Childhood Center, Hart High School, and Hart Middle School this summer. Please check out our website at hartschools.net for more bond work information and construction photos! Due to temporary closures, summer office locations will be moved starting June 15th.
