On September 15th, two Hart Volleyball players passed their career milestones against Orchard View: Senior Calyn Eisenlohr achieved her 1000th assist, and senior Alayna Schiller surpassed her previous record of 1000 digs by doubling it to a new record of 2000 digs. After the game, Alayna Schiller shared her feelings on her new record, stating, “I was really excited to reach this goal of mine for a long time. I enjoyed that my whole team, parents, and coaches really made my night so much fun! I am so blessed to have such an amazing team, and I can’t wait to see what we do [this season]!” Calyn Eisenlohr also commented on her new achievement, saying, “It definitely feels amazing. It has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to be where I am today. It’s an honor to be the first Hart volleyball player to ever achieve 1000 assists.”
With well over half the season yet to go, the Pirates are on track to make a run in the post season, and some are asking: What records might they break next? The Pirates play at home tonight, Thursday, October 1st, against Mason County Central.
