The 2026 Hart High School Academic and Athletic Award Ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 19th from 1:10pm to 2:50pm in the HHS gymnasium. All HHS students and staff gathered to celebrate the achievements of the class of 2026, as well as standout underclassmen in various academic and athletic realms. Teachers presented awards to students who have demonstrated true Pirate P.R.I.D.E. in their classrooms throughout the school year, and many athletes were honored for achievements on the court, mat, field, and track. This year’s Senior Outstanding Athletes were Chase Lorenz and Addison Hain, and Senior Sportsmanship awards were given to Bryce Vander Kodde and Shelbie Choponis. Mr. Bruce also named Blake Helenhouse as this year’s Senior Principal’s Award recipient. These students, among many others, were recognized for their hard work in the classroom and beyond. The assembly concluded with a viewing of this year’s Senior Slideshow, reliving senior memories from the past decade before officially graduating on Thursday, May 21st.
