College and Career Ambassadors

Planting Seeds for the Future

By: Makenna Carrier

Hart High School’s College Ambassador Program, led by Mrs. Cophenhaver and Mrs. Shulkebir, empowers student leaders to promote college and career readiness among their peers. Meeting twice a month during lunch, these students organize engaging activities that highlight a variety of post-secondary options, including four-year colleges, trade schools, and early college programs. By fostering peer-to-peer communication, the program creates a supportive environment where students feel more comfortable asking questions and exploring their futures. Student ambassador Viviana VanAtgmael expresses that helping others motivates her to share knowledge and resources with classmates. Hart High School commends the team’s dedication to encouraging academic curiosity and preparing students for life beyond graduation.
